I am responsible.
I want to share a simple sentence that has had a HUGE impact on my life.
I am responsible for my life, for my feelings, and for every result I get.
I heard this from Bob Proctor. And he says everyone should say this sentence aloud 10x per day.
I’ll admit, the first time I heard this, I didn’t really want to do it, because it’s a whole lot easier to give someone else the responsibility for our lives.
But I did it (and still do, every day).
And can you believe it, along the way it transformed from something scary to something liberating and empowering.
Because it means that I have control over my life, no one else.
You have control over your life, no one else.
You want to succeed at this? It’s in your hands.
You can do it.

I love this post, Joel as it literally affects my life deep down inside. You're truly responsible for who you are today, who you were yesterday and who you'll possibly be tomorrow. Thanks for the great work!

Hey Joel, nice to meet you. Thanks for the post! That is an impactful statement and it is one that I have been saying this for a number of years since I first heard it. All I know is that it works. Thanks for starting our week off with this reminder. :)

It really is powerful! That's great that you've been saying it for so long, it really puts you in the right frame of mind. :)
Yes, it can jump start your day. The key is to write it down and to speak it aloud about 3 x at bedtime, which allows your brain to work on it while you sleep. Keep something nearby to take notes when you go to bed, b/c you will likely wake up with ideas and action steps.

Great encouragement! Thank you for this motivation. It can be scary sometimes to say those words aloud but necessary to keep moving forward. How powerful. Thanks for sharing!
Have an awesome day! Wishing you all the best.
Kind regards,
Yvette

You are so right we are responsible for our actions and our choices and we just have to own up to them.
And except the consequences that come with the action or choice.
Once we are able to accept the consequences and then we can say we are taking that responsibility then.

Agreed. It can be hard to do, but definitely worth it!
Yes, it is worth it, in the long run, anything is worth it as long as you take responsibility for it.
