My First Month at Wealthy Affiliate
Welp, it's now been a month since I first signed up for Wealthy Affiliate. I'd like to share with you my journey on this site (and with my website) thus far.
First off, I'd like to reiterate something I've said in previous blog posts: the community here is just so darn helpful. I've searched around for various money making forums and whatnot throughout the years, but had never found a community quite like this - one built on the idea that we should all want to help each other succeed at creating an online business. After all, for every person that becomes freed from the shackles of a 9-to-5 job, the world becomes a more liberated place.
Another thing that I and many other people have lauded about WA is the abundance of really helpful resources available here. In particular, it's nice that there is a whole course dedicated to helping you through the basics, since there are a lot of people out there that would love to have their own website, but shy away from it due to fear of all the technical aspects. This site really helps you to gradually learn things about creating a website, and then creating valuable content for that site and helping people to find it through the keyword training. For this, I am truly thankful.
In terms of my own website, I feel I'm making great progress. As of right now, I've got 22 posts on the site, all of which I feel are pretty high-quality and can offer something to my readers. In addition, since I first created my website on November 15, I've gotten 506 visits to my site, 465 of which are unique. It's really cool to be able to see how people are interacting with my site through Google Analytics and I'm really excited about the progress I'm making there. In the past couple of days, I've also seen the visit duration and pages per post increase significantly, which is definitely a good sign. I know I have a lot of work head, but I'm very enthused by my progress in this short time period.
I've also been enjoying occasionally popping on the 'Money Goals' page and offering support to new users. I know it was really cool for me to write my post on that page, and get a couple of high-quality, encouraging responses to my goals, so I wanted to reciprocate with some of the new users.
In general, I'm completely exhilarated by the opportunity this site has provided me: to one day be able to say that I can completely support myself and my adventures through my online business. To say that I can travel anywhere in the world, whenever I want, and do whatever I want. To feel like I'm free to work a couple hours a particular week, then a whole bunch the next, then perhaps none the next week. I want to again thank you all for your awesome support during the time I've been here (special shoutout to Nathaniell! xD), and I look forward to spending much more high-quality time here in the coming months.

Nice to see your update on where you are at. I don't know how you do senior year (as busy as that time of life is) and all this work on WA all at the same time -- perhaps you tie super vitamins or something!! I took another look at your site -- do love that theme, especially where it shows your bio and recent posts at bottom of pages -- he is a talented developer!
So glad you are excited about being here as part of the community. Glad you are proud of your progress so far......and it is good progress. Just keep it going and I am sure I will see you one day with a successful online business.
