IS IT A BAD IDEA TO REVEAL HOW MUCH MONEY YOU MAKE?
We have been indoctrinated into believing that your salary or the money you make is your secret. It is not proper to discuss your income with other people, but why? Most companies are transparent and make public their turnover figures but the salary of the CEO or that of top management is a state secret.
My observation, in this Internet Marketing, the so-called gurus are quick to reveal that they earn 7 figure income and that to achieve it is a no brainer, very easy without any skill in computers. This is their modus operandi and this is what gullible opportunity seekers are sucked into. I am from there..........to get rich over night, is a very attractive preposition any day, anytime.
CAN WE MAKE IT DIFFERENTLY
Here at Wealthy Affiliate, I believe we can do it differently, how much the most successful members make they can choose to reveal that information within the WA community. This will be some kind of encouraging the strugglers and new members to focus and be consistent. This approach will not be construed as just big talk as a way to just make people sign up as it is the case with most of the scammers.
WE ALREADY HAVE A PLAN THAT WE MUST FOLLOW
All we need to do is to learn, understand and just follow the plan of our instructors. The education here is real and practical. The community is fantastic and extremely helpful. Kyle and Carson want all of us to succeed and we can all attest to the fact that whatever they claim to be earning is not a malicious tactic to take our money and run.
WE ARE HERE TO LEARN, SHARE, EARN AND HAVE A LIFE
I think it is fair to assume that, in as much as we would like to help the less fortunate, we all want to succeed either in the acquisition of the skills we learn here or to be successful entrepreneurs.
I am totally satisfied with the Wealthy Affiliate education and not shamed or uncertain to share it with whoever cares to listen. We have a winning formula and the future is bright.

Joe we have heard a lot hype online and what you're saying is very true; a lot of the so-called brag about earning a 7 figure income and that's what tempt people to fall prey to their get rich quick schemes. I can't see that ever taking off. People often ask how much people are earning and they normally get a short but polite response along the line that it is no one's business but their own.

I'd like to comment on whether it's a good thing to reveal your income and why top affiliates share their financial successes without hesitation.
1. Affiliate marketers who have blogs want more subscribers. They often monetize their affiliate marketing blogs by selling ebooks, training courses, providing consultancy or pitching products fro a commission to fellow affiliate marketers. Thus, they need to put a proof they're successful to attract more people.
Matthew Woodward reveals his income and his traffic stats, which show that his income reports is the most viral content.
2. Affiliate marketers who disclose their earnings often compare their income to the one from the previous month. Thus they might be using as an extra motivational source.
3. Affiliates who really make money are successful people. And one of the major traits of a truly successful person is willingness to help others. They want to show those in doubt that it's really possible to make money online.

if your think negatively always your will always get negativity. Try hard like the gurus explain and do everything they guide you to do, heck even copy them to an extent and see. the rest is up to you. Your mother or father doesn't walk for you they taught you the steps to walk and then you mastered it yourself.
