The persistence hunting technique is a hunting technique used by hunters who may be slower than their prey over shorter distances. They run, walk and track their prey until it is exhausted and only then catch their next meal.
Persistent hunters although being slower are able to pursue their prey over long distances. Gray wolves, Gyrfalcon, African wild dogs, Spotted Hyenas, Lungless spiders and Humans use this hunting strategy.
