Saturday, A Bittersweet Day!
After a long difficult year, things are starting to look up. However, yesterday, Saturday 22 June was a bittersweet day for me.
I said goodbye to daughter who has moved to Ireland with her boyfriend. She is not only my daughter, but my friend. Even though knowing with today's communication options, she is always there to talk to, and travel is not expensive either way; she will be sorely missed from in my home and life!
On the positive side, I have my dog back after a long 8 months apart. He was so sweet and looked at me as if to say "can we go home now please?" :). How lovely to have him back, that unconditional love and cuddles! He has given me back the inspiration to go out walking for pleasure, taking in the scenery with appreciation!
No matter how hard life might seem, keep soldiering on, things will get better!
