Taking Charge of My Destiny
At 61 years of age, I'm sure some of you younger people must think surely my destiny has pretty much been fulfilled or at least the remainder of it set in stone. I don't believe that for one instant.
I'm pretty sure it is only finished when I give up on anything changing in my life and quit trying. I had reached a point in my life a few years back when doors seemed to be closing for me in many aspects of my life, and I had begun accepting that. When I did that, everything seemed to start going downhill quickly.
Recently, however, I have begun to realize that I was the one closing those doors, and that I'm not READY to sit back and give up. In keeping with this, I have decided to take charge again and re-open those doors. I know that I am the only one who can bring about change in the shape the rest of my life takes!
While it is true that time and circumstance can bring opportunity or place barriers in our life direction, how we deal with those things and the way we view them makes all the difference in what direction they send us.
So, watch out world, I'm not through by any means! Looking forward and taking the initiative, whether I face obstacles or smooth sailing, I know I can accomplish the goals I now have set for myself.
Here's hoping we meet along this road and cheer one another on.

You are so right JoAnn - I'm 67 but if Cheryl Cole can have a whirlwind romance and get married within 3 months who knows what can happen to us. They say it only takes 90 days to turn your life around At the moment I'd be happy with a dozen sales on WA lol
Thanks for the comment, Hilary. You're so right, looking forward to what the next 3 months will bring. :)
