Starting Over
I've been absent for a while. My half a website has become like an old ship rusting in a dry dock. My passion; gone.
I started my website for IT courses because a change in career to IT was something I had been through personally. I knew what career newcomers should expect. However, my heart was never really in it. It just seemed like a stable career that paid more than anything I had done previously.
I started composing my website "IT Course Finder" instead of trying to learn more technical skills in IT to expand my career. I thought about affiliateing IT courses instead of sitting them myself.
I did my Comptia A+ and Microsoft Windows 10 but that's all. I found I was competing with IT professionals who had done so many more. I was writing posts about courses in IT security or Cloud which I hadn't taken myself, obtaining information from Google and YouTube research. How could I compete with technical people who had learnt it and worked in it?
So I've given up. The steam has gone and the engine is cold.
But you can't get rid of me that easily. I have a new idea, one that I will find more passion in. I'm starting over, so watch this space.
