That awkward moment when a friend promotes yet another MLM.
I have a group of friends- well, acquaintances who became friends- gathered in a closed chatroom. Our aim is to share info and advice on finance.
One of the friends is currently involved in an MLM business in the food industry. She never misses a moment to promote her stuff, which is basically a suspicious and overpriced blend of cheap ingredients. What's sad is that not long ago she had been convinced of its dubiousness. I did some research and told her some unsavoury facts. She had acknowledged them. She even stopped promoting for a few days.
After those few days, however, she is still throwing in spammy comments, arrrrgh! I feel sure that she's been appeased by commissions. Maybe she expressed doubts about the products and her sponsors or whatever went an extra mile to sooth her by helping out. In any case, she has lost my and others' respect for the time being. I don't think she realizes this.
Earning money feels good, obviously, but there is no guarantee that it will continue, especially by selling MLM products that are sold for commissions rather than value. By losing trust in the process a dead end is sure to follow. Every duped referral will turn many others against the business.
I'm here to get help. Help to persevere on the only legit way of internet marketing, which is to create good user experience and become an authority on a niche, armed with up-to-date technicalities. In other words, offering value.

Right. I need to get my website up right now! Well, within 24 hours anyway. I know I have to concentrate on one website for a long while, so it's a big decision to choose one over other possibilities. Thanks, Lisa.
No matter what type of businesses, as long there is no ethics nor any good business practice is considered a scam cheating on people, is only time will tell when a person finally realized one's moral sense of right and wrong when situation turn against them.
Yes, hoping they wouldn't turn around and say they chose the wrong business, only to jump into another! :)

Yep. I knew about WA several years ago and knew this was the only way. Sadly, however, I just couldn't go through with the plunge at the time. I wish I had joined then. But I don't think it's too late!
