How Bad Do You Want That?

Last Update: August 28, 2020

That question made me wonder. Think hard.

Most of us want to lose weight, earn a million, start our own business, write a book, travel the world... We want a lot, but in fact, we either do nothing to fulfill our desire or work half of our strength.

How bad do you want that?

A strong question. It puts all the points over "i".

Well, for example, you want to lose weight.

Do you want it?

I know you want it ... After all, you already have “love holders”, shortness of breath when climbing the stairs and you can't zip your favorite jeans ...

You signed up for a gym, bought a new uniform, and decided to go on a diet. Morning comes and you have to go to the gym early, but you don't go. When you wake up, you begin an internal conversation with yourself: "Why get up so early? It's dark now. Everyone's asleep. It's cold outside. You'll go tomorrow. Get some more sleep. It's good for you. "

Tomorrow won.

How bad do you want that?

It's time for lunch... You really want to eat. In the restaurant, you order a large piece of meat, coffee, and a couple of desserts. Mmm … delicious.

Today you can. After all, you have already decided that tomorrow you will begin to follow your plans and go to the gym.

Tomorrow won.

How bad do you want that?

We constantly have doubts and need to choose one of two - either start working on our goal here and now, or postpone for tomorrow.

“If you can't do it today, what makes you think you can do it tomorrow.” ~ Yusuf Tara

Well, you decided to write an article for your website. You're working on it. Wrote 90%. It seems to be almost ready, but… something come up, sometimes problems happen. They check on how important this is for you! The article diminishes into the background. You forget about it ... How bad do you want to finish it?

Our lives are a constant choice. The world is full of temptations and easy to get off its goal. After all, no one said that it would be easy. Yes, it will be difficult, sometimes you will want to quit, get drunk and forget about everything as a terrible dream.

How bad do you want that?

As for long distance runners, you will always get a second wind. Always. You don't notice that. Important becomes not important, difficult becomes easy. You grow up every time when it's hard for you. You can feel sorry for yourself and rollback. But you can just go forward every day to your goal. In small steps. Every day.

How bad do you want that?

Not bad enough? Or you don't want it at all?

It's your choice. Not mine. Not your parents. Not your friends.

Everything that happens in your life is your choice and responsibility!

Hello Jane,

Great post!! life is full of choices and opportunities it is up to us and as you say rightly as a running theme how badly do we want or need the choice to possibly make our lives better dictate the commitment required to go ahead with that optional choice or not to ensure where we want to be!!

Trust your day is going great!!

Sorry can’t agree it was not my choice to have to come home to look after sick parents. There was no choice or at least no choice that my consciousness could have lived with

If it's not your choice then it's your responsibility

Our choices define who we are, and where we are going to be. Good post.
