Successfully Added a Banner

I'm a researcher. I work IT and I sometimes have to track things down. Been having issues getting banner ads to work, with all the how-tos and other instructions all say to put it directly into the HTML. So I researched and found a youtube video showing the process through Wordpress widgets. I now have a banner ad running on my site.
