It's a Toe in the Water
Hmmmm?
I am beginning to see a bit of your WA plan to help people do this endeavor of helping people on line make informed decisions and possibly buy something. I am beginning to see a bit of the web and not just a few strands of spider silk. Some of the forest for the trees, sort of thing.
I have published a web page and so do look eager to the next steps on how to write some reviews to publish, how to monetize this web page, and I imagine a hundred other things I haven't thought of. So my toe is in the water.
I have a lot of good reasons why this has taken some months: work, life, and a bit of boredom. Sometimes I am bored with everything. But it passes. All good, no, great reasons for being pokey. Anyway, I am out of the blocks.
Sometimes I need to remind myself that it takes me awhile to learn what is obviously not that difficult. First, remember, this is remote, asynchronous, learning and set up. If you the expert were sitting at my side, in person, this would go faster. Then, it just takes awhile. And I appreciate the WA steps. I would never do this on my own. I can see the structure of WA.
I unashamedly watch the videos over and over, and I catch little things. Then I forget them and need to watch the video again, and then I need to laboriously practice it. I stare at the screen, and poke around, and do something, delete it, do it again. Repetition. I take notes on real paper. It takes awhile. Excuse me, but I think many people learn like this. I'm not that stupid. Most of us though... what's the saying, "We peddle really hard when no one is watching." Oh, yeah, I got a website up. Sure, who hasn't. It just took a "few minutes." Sure. You didn't see me putzing around and peddling when no one was watching.
Well, you can watch all you want. I'll plod along, and unless I am in one of my boring/bored moods, I kind of enjoy it. What's the big hurry, as long as I get the concepts and the little motions of the program learned. Well, I am in some hurry, but not a big hurry.
The point is, if this all for you is frustrating and taking too long to figure out here at WA, well, you've got plenty of good company.

Hey John I am still going back over parts of the training. Your perspective changes when you have more experience. Several Aha moments have taught me this. Keeping on proceeding at your pace. This way you will build a very solid foundation from which you will be able to see very many pathways to your success.

Hey John,
Your toe is in the water and other parts, too.
TheCatherine said, "Learn. Do. Teach." Everyone has to start at the beginning to fully grasp online affiliate marketing.
I agree it takes a whopping 1 minute to create a website. How long does it take to get this process? As long as it takes to become a master.
Let your passion shine as you plod along because I am right there with you.
Thank you for sharing this post, my friend. Feel free to reach out if you are stuck.
Maxine :)
