I have been told by the people closest to me that I am very analytical. They tell me that my comments are long in words, my questions are straight-forward, and my responses to questions are too in-depth. I think before responding. Moreover, I question everything. You cannot take anything at face value in this world. The one thing I can agree with is; I need to practice on, is not saying anything if I cannot say something nice. Well, in certain scenarios that is the way to go.
However, life is short and to convoluted with manipulation that steers all of us from the truth. So it is in that vein that I am the way I am. I try hard to live by my core beliefs. That is done by thinking and acting from an internal truth that I believe is in all of us. That truth is helping each other. In other words "do onto others as you would have others do onto you." Forgive me because I am passionate about my beliefs. Sometimes, you may have to stand alone for speaking the truth.

Maybe, that is why it is hard for me in sales. I do not want to lie and manipulate the truth. My content is honest and in black and white with no gray areas. Even if the bad outweighs the good, it is what it is. I leave it up to the individual to make the decision to follow my lead. Marketing is manipulation at its best. But is practiced by deceptive methods. It is only when a product or service can sell itself, that manipulation fades from being the point of attack.

I suppose this article best describes my analytical ways. I agree that I am analytical. And it can at times do more harm than good. Therefore, I am left to decide whether to market by deception with the intent of taking a shorter road to success. Or taking the long road that comes with honest informative content and sleep like a baby with a peaceful conscience.

Life is short and you should live your life filled with self-awareness and free thinking. And let it not solely be for material gain. Your legacy will be seen in a brighter light before and after death, leaving all knowing you left the world in a better place than you found it because you tried to do your best to keep humanity and morality in your point of attack. Respect yourself first.
