Me And My Business
Me and my business. I want us to grow old together. I expect the ups and downs that comes when two entities unite to become one. However, I had to ask; Is this a one sided relationship? Am I being pimped? Where is the give and take? I mean I love my business. I understand that the business is young and needs attention. Moreover, with both sides committed, the possibilities of our combined input in this collaboration could lead to something big. Furthermore, I know the mountain to climb, or the biggest obstacle to overcome is trusting each other.
The arrangement, plan, or strategy [whatever you choose to call it] calls for me to commit to bringing the business to maturity. They say love is blind. So, I must be blind as a bat. Here I am doing all I can to see to it the business is as strong, healthy, and positioned to be the best business it can be. So I feed the business quality content daily, SEO, and keywords. I introduced the business to every relevant piece of software, autoresponder, and advertising campaign to make it known to all interested in what this business has to offer.
Me And My Business
But throughout the relationship I was putting forth, I started to feel unappreciated, ignored, there was no light at the end of the tunnel. Therefore, I had to take a step back. I had to take a step out, to look in, at what and why I was going through this process. After that I remembered the love I have for the business, and the reason for taking the journey in the first place. I know making this business a success will help others and leave a legacy for my family and others to do the same.
With a clear vision of why I do this, I can put the pieces together. I see that this "me and my business thing" I have been talking about is really a me thing. I invited this business into my life. And all the times I questioned my feelings about the business are excuses for its lack of performance. The business growth and strength is dependent on potency of all the variables I feed it. To sum it up it is a front-end back-end type deal. Me putting in at the front-end, and the business paying off on the back end.
