Have You Done the Work?
I was just sitting here doing some keyword research for my niche, MMO (Make Money Online), and that question dawned on me. Why?
Well I review make money online products and so I go through a lot of different products, and view all of their success stories.
How do you get a success story? It seems like a success story is our next big catch. I have a love for bass fishing, so I use this analogy.
We are fishing for our next big break. I guess success stories can range from high to low, so if depends on what we are searching for.
A small feat, but big at face value is getting our website indexed. It gives you that warm fuzzy feeling, right?
Then we have our first $1 made online, that one REALLY sends us over the moon! Am I right?
Then we notice certain search phrases that we are using on our blogs, hit the #1 Page on Google. At that point, we know we get this, right?!
My main goal for a very long time is being able to generate a full time income online. However, I have been in this thing for many years to no avail.
My Success Thus Far
I was pretty surprised to do the math the other day to find out I have made a whopping $4,759 online, since I started out in December 2015.
The thing is that as I do my research on different make money online products, I read all the success stories, and see others achieving much larger successes online.
I have to reason, I am sure there is a very small percentage in each program that attain big results such as $10,000+ months.
I have noticed a pattern for most of these as well. They put in the work. I mean they REALLY go in! They are pouring hours upon hours into their business, and they are being consistent, and persevering. Meaning they are withstanding the test of time.
the work + consistency + perseverance= success
I guess that is how that goes. :-)
Have You Done the Work?
I take a look at my own journey in the pursuit of online success, and this is what I've found.
I started off strong! I dove into the training head first. I completed the training within six months.
I kept on blogging for a couple more months after that. I was pretty consistent, logging on daily to my website and posting 2-3 blog posts per week.
After those first eight months, I ran into some hardships and fell off for a couple of months.
Then I regained traction within my business again, and I did so for about 12 months consistently.
I did not see the results I wanted, so ended up changing courses in life. I pumped out very little content over the next few months, then fell off.
I took a few months off. Then another break, that lasted a year. Then another break that lasted one year and seven months.
Aw man, you can see how bad I fell off. If you know about internet marketing, you KNOW, that you have to be consistent, and persistent. And you can't let go!
I guess the doubt plays a major role in it. However, there is this feeling in my gut, that I KNOW, this works.
You Gotta Do the Work!
We have to keep up with the perseverance. As I stated previously, all the others who have attained the success we are seeking, are holding on. They don't let go!
They keep going and going. It never stops. I just read a blog post about Neil Patel. He said he has written nearly 7,000 blog posts. Hehe, we ain't ready!
I look at that number and look at mine. I am at around 180. As many of you may know Neil is making $10,000s per month online.
He has got it! He knew you have to keep going.
We have a good foundation here, and many have seen that this system works. You have seen your blog posts on Page 1.
The thing is we have to keep going, keep writing and creating content. We can't lose, if you persevere!
The way I see it is, I am the only who can make me stop.
Let's get to work y'all!
Much Love,
Jon
