I have an Amazon affiliate id and have a post where i'd like to link to two books on Amazon. They give me html code. dont know what to do with it! help, again...
Thanks, jvranjes. I have read your post and tried and tried. In fact this is what I was doing and still can't get it to work. I am giving up for the day as I am tired and may be overlooking something very simple. I will revisit tomorrow. If I still can't get it to work, I will be back....
you need to grab the link from amazon and then use something like the pretty link plugin to set it up as a link on your site. You can then put this on any of your posts.
There is some training on the boot camps on this. If you have problems let me know and ill see if I can dig it out.
Make sure that the link you use begins with http if you use it in Visual mode. I remember that I made mistake of that kind.
I am using the link with http and when I try it it goes to "about:blank". I am close but not there yet!
Ok, I have finally gotten links working. I was not able to attach to a photo but that's minor. Not sure if I did it right or not but it's working. Amazon had the link and said highlight, copy and paste. When I did that it did not work. But when I went back and looked at that link, there was some code before the "http" so I eliminated that and the link works. Make you crazy, thanks so much for your help.

Yes. If you are following the training, you will eventually install Google Analytics. With GA, you can see how many visitors, where they are from, real time visitors, and so much more.

Hello Joanne. It looks like you are trying to create a Category Page.
The easiest way is to just add that Poetry category link to your custom menu. Leo has a great training for that: Creating A Category Page I hope this takes care of your issue. Please let me know if you still have problems.
The other alternative would be manually entering the content onto those pages but then I think that would be hard too. Lets hope there is someone out there who knows a better way!
I don't know of a way to set this up automatically, but I would like to see if someone knows of a way because I would like my site to do this as well.
It may be a little more work, but you can manually do this by writing out the name of each of your posts on the appropriate page and link the titles to your posts...

Contact support. It's usually a firewall here at WA that is giving you that error message.
