Do Good on Purpose
Someone said to me “It’s not how much money you make, it’s how much you keep” to which I responded, “hmm”. Why was my response so significant? You see I’m generally an agreeable person so whenever I don’t automatically nod and agree (sometimes not even intentionally), it’s usually something I have to think about later. So later I thought, that statement needs a qualifier…i.e. it’s how much you keep that means what? How much you can keep means nothing. What you do with the money you keep is what really matters. Money really only serves one purpose and that is to purchase goods and services…either for yourself or others…either now or later. No matter what you can think to do with money, they will all fall in one of those 2 buckets. It is a means to an end but it is not the end. So I challenge you to do good things with the money you make and have at your disposal. Sure, use it to make a better life for you and your family...but also use it to make the world a little better each day than the way you found it because we have the power to do that...even in some small way.

I have always fantasize about winning the lottery or something.(although I could never win because I am not into voluntary taxation - and the likelihood of me winning is about a zillion to one!).
... but it's still nice to think about now and again - I do believe I would be giving away almost all my winnings (after my family and I were ok of course) - I often think about what charity or foundation I could set up.
... as in my bio - Greed has no place in MY LIFE.
