Blog at WA or on my Niche domain?

This blog is actually straight to the point. As a toddler`s mum i hardly have time for myself and the little time i get ( 2-3 hours a day if i`m lucky) i continue with my training or continue with my articles.

Some days i´m too tired and just need to wind down and not touch the laptop. Just wanna sleep. My Rankings go up a few and down some more lol! I try my best to engage in the community here but i am at a crossroads.

On a typical day, i log in, check my notifications and respond, welcome some new members, read and respond to some blog posts. That done, its already an hour or so gone.

Then i continue with the training/ make adjustments to my website www.myhealthyafro.com continue with an article/ do some research. Total 3 hours + gone with less than 500 words on my article!

Another chance i get is probably 2 days later. I come back and my rank has moved back 1000 positions or more :-(

Now i am confused on what i should concentrate on. Should i concentrate more on my Niche website or write blogs here and interact a lot with the community to improve my rankings?

What are the benefits of ranking high here on WA? Not asking about being an Ambassador...I'm way too far from that haha.

Anyone with a strategy that i can do this without feeling overwhelmed? Your response and tips will highly be appreciated.

Yours in dilemma,

Janet.

Hi, Janet!

I wish I could solve your dilemma but I'm in the same situation as you.

If you'd ask me, I choose to concentrate on writing more articles for my website (s), while I am dreaming about getting better rankings inside WA.

I know better rankings come with a lot more interaction within the community and blogging more often here I think will become real for me somewhere in the future when I get more experienced and, hopefully, more free time.

Even though I am here for more than a year now, I am still in the training stage doing my Bootcamp.

My three year Princess takes the majority of my time, I'm working in the short episodes when she is busy drawing or playing on her own, or sometimes during nights when I have insomnia haha.

Hope you'll find your solution and I wish you a lot of success with your online business!

Natalie

You are not alone. we try to do the best we can with the little time we can squeeze in. We will get there. Also still in my training lol.

Hi Janet. Two thoughts come to my mind.
First if you have to choose between blogging here or working on you niche site, choose your niche site.
By all means check in here regularly because there is always some help for developing our sites to be had.
Second, we all have a lot of time available but most of it is in bits and pieces here and there. Use that time wisely because it can help you build over time.
I have heard of writers who are able to write a book just by using the small bits and pieces of time that they do have.
In time you ranking here will build naturally.
Have a great week ahead.

Hi Janet
Your No I priority now and for the foreseeable is your toddler and your growth and life together, no question.
Second is your niche website if that is needed for income generating and at sometimes involve your child. Explain what you are doing and get the toddler to help by drawing pictures etc and you will be surprised in how much fun you can have together.
WA is for your training and to pick out the positive comments to build up your well bring from time to time.
Every success

Wow! Thanks Trevor for the breakdown. At least i can now look at it at a different angle. Wanting to succeed in many areas at the same time can be overwhelming sometimes.

Thanks Tim for your contribution. I appreciate.

I would take Dave's advice and prioritize your website first and WA second unless you can commit the time. However, do engage WA to learn and keep you motivated.
