Uploading an image from Amazon!
I learned something just recently. Again, I have forgotten the original person I learned this from.
I have Product Marketing and was downloading all the images I needed from Amazon whom I am an Associate. The purpose was to put the image on my Website.
I was asking a search questions and noticed one about uploading images from Amazon.
Here is what I found. I had been doing it INCORRECTLY!! Oh no!! I have to do them a new way. I am a bit slow and I thought of all those images I had used.
I had been clicking on the image I wanted and sometimes this was difficult, because my computer gave a prompt that it was unable to print. Then I finally was able to find a usable picture or image to download to my library.
Consequently, I was finally able to get it to my site page.
When I saw the new way, I was happy that it was so simple!! And, I no longer had a problem of downloading images to my pages or posts.
Here is what I learned from the video from some member here. I apologize for copying his information and hope he does it again. It was done in 2017 I believe.
He said that Amazon was unhappy about the downloading of images from Amazon to his site and was ready to cut him off from being an Associate. Reading the rules again, I too did not see anything about downloading images.
The upshot is to take Amazon's advertised product with all the specifics and the image you had chosen and then click "Text" and that will show the image. If you would like to, you can choose the size too. {small, medium, large} After choosing the size, Copy the Text. Go to you page and press Text. Print the text there where you want the image and when you press Visual, the image will be there.
And Amazon will be pleased. It is so easy too. I went ahead and put the banner + text to use after my comment about the product.
If you are an Associate of Amazon, I would read the rules from the Use of Amazon and the Privacy Policy. Or you can take advantage of Google Search to get some articles that will simplify some of the rules.
Rules, rules, and rules! Who needs them? We all do or at least I do. I make a few mistakes. I am slow, you know.

Nadja. Thank you very much. I am going to ask Kyle about the uploading. I do not expect to make any money with my website. I am on the first page for many of my keywords. But SEO is a giggi. So I just stumbled on this post. I am wondering if this is why Amazon kicked me out of the program? I have been downloading the pictures from the products I was going to use too and then adding my affiliate link. Am I reading correctly that this is frowned upon? Rather I should be gathering the images from the actual link option and putting in this way?
If so, I better get started because I have a lot of work to do lol

Here is how I used to do it.
1. I clicked the Site Stripes. It took me to the Search Box.
2. If I knew what I wanted it was simple. If not, I had to use a general term to Finally finding an image, I think this is where I downloaded the link of the product.
3. I really have forgotten, except it was tiring and sometimes difficult.
4. Go back to Kyle's video and the steps because he did it the long way too. It has been awhile, ago maybe he gives the correct way to get the image. He clicked on the link box next to the image he wanted and (if I remember correctly) was able to download the image to his site in the editor part. He then had his image of the blender to make his delicious drink. He did not go to the library.
I believe Amazon was put out by people trying to find their images to click on. I do not know. The new way is easy! It looks difficult. But if you follow it step by step, you will be able to do this quickly with no problem and not library!
I wrote the directions wrong for getting your image in my answer before.. All you have to do is from now on do it this way. Or if you want, do it over again. I will tell you an easy, easy way to use the text next to the Visual in your editor.
1. Go to the Amazon product site that has your image you want and also the specific information about the product.
2. With your Site Stripes, you have TEXT, IMAGE, IMAGE and TEXT.
{{Image and text is the banner. It is important to use. I put the banner at the end, but you can put it anywhere.}}
3. click on IMAGE and your image it there!! You also can choose the size of your image.
4. Go to the TEXT next to the VISUAL in your editor mode. You are going to paste the link for IMAGE on the text in the mode of your editor. (Real Bright sentence Judy)
5. Before you click TEXT. you will want to do this. At the point, you want the image for your site, put any number.999999999999 by the plade you want the image.
6. Click on the text in the Editor. (next to the Visual)
7, The part with the 99999999 is the place where you paste the URL. Delete the 99999 slowly. At the end, paste the Text URL for your image you got from Amazon.
You then can click your image in Visual to exactly where you want it.
8. You do the same thing with, Text and Visual (Banner) But you have to center it in the Text mode of the Editor. You may want it on the right.
9, Do the same thing that you did when you wanted the image. Go back to Site Stripes and click on VISUAL and TEXT. It shows you what it will look like. Now, remember, you will use the Text on the Editor to paste the URL for the banner. You can not move the banner around. I like mine in the center, so let's put it in the center. Again the 999999,where you want it.
10. Go to the Text in the Editor mone. Find your 999999 and delete slowly. At the end of the 9's, paste your URL code there. It will always look like this.

Practice this. You will later want to center more things such as a Youtube video. BEFORE Iframe and AFTER iframe. First and the last.
Highlight a phrase, go to your link in the editor. Click on the "star". Always check mark the item, seen on the something, but use a check mark there with everything on your future sites. On the URL box, paste the text Amazon gave you for the text. At the bottom, click on Add. It is short and says Amazon--
