Hanging In There

I've been a blogger off and on for several years now, so you would think this would be easy for me. But somehow, blogging here on WA is different. I feel a bit more self conscious. I guess getting out of my comfort zone is good though.

So I'm finally almost done with course 2. And lesson 10 involves making a blog post, so here I am! I thought I'd just share some of my experiences in this new endeavor. It's been a challenge, mostly because it's hard to find the time to work on my website. I already work from home but I have to put in long hours and I barely make enough to support the hobby that is my business. That's why I joined WA, but the process of getting anywhere has been slow.

Decision making is not my forte! I started with a new website, and after purchasing the domain and getting a start on it I changed my mind and transferred my business website over here. After much trial and error, I finally accomplished that! So now I've got my business website doing double duty to start getting lots of traffic and hopefully begin to make some money.

Long story short, this has been the best experience for me. I'm learning patience and that the best things take time. I'm working on time management so I can create a time in my day to do this. And WA is getting me out of my shell a bit because to do really well you have to get involved in the community, so I can't just be a hermit!

If you're struggling or feeling like things aren't happening for you quickly enough, just remember that this is a process, and being diligent and patient will get you there in the end. If I can do this, anyone can. Don't give up, just keep going at whatever pace you can handle and surely it will pay off in the end.
