Dusting Off An Old Hobby

After going through a bit of emotional struggle in my life, I've dusted off an old passionate hobby of mine: 3D modelling and concept illustration- two of the best things my gaphics degree ever taught me.

I took a break from these hobbies about a year or two ago; the market was saturated, commissions dried up, a no name like me wasn't going to get anywhere and I gave up.

But this site, and all the people on it, taught me a valuable lesson in patience. If you keep trying, every day, eventually you will make it. It can be a week, a month, a year, ten years... but you will get there, and you will ne a name people recognize.

There are one or two people who have been eagerly waiting for me to open 3D commissions again, even after two years of no contact, and now I'm gonna do it, because I feel like it matters.

Thank you, WA, for making me want to enjoy my hobbies again.

You're absolutely right Jordan, WA will teach you patience. If you can master that, the world is yours. Unfortunately most people don't have delayed gratification and they end up missing out on so much because of it! Glad to see you're not one of them.

That's the spirit. Patience is indeed a virtue and in due time you'll get the result you've been awaiting for.

Awesome, Jordan, sounds like the time is right for you to get back into it, the thing about being a no-name, we can set the world on fire just bring the passion and consistency and it is a happening thing.

Best wishes
