My life as a handyman!
This is what it is like to have a handyman service. First you get the call to take care of a problem. You go, you look, do the repair. Get paid for the service (best part). You would think that would be the end of that call but it does not stop there. My base over the years has grown so wide that I will never catch up. 95% of my friends will wait for me to show up. And I say friends because after I finish the job I get to know each one by name. I have a few that I have been taking care of for over 16 years. Most of them are over 75 years young, and the mass is all women who have lost their husbands, and they need someone they can trust. So here I am at 68 working on mobile homes, doing what ever it takes to get the job done. You know that some of them call to have me come over to do work and what they really need is someone to talk to. Let me tell you I am no saint. I don't get paid to sit and talk so if that is what they need then that is what they will get. I LOVE each and everyone of them. Some are like moms to me and if I piss them off they have no problem telling me about it then they want to know when I an going to show up. So I am so blessed to have this job, I would not trade it for anything. Thanks for reading JIMMY.

That's wonderful Jimmy:) Before a stroke left me with a dodgy hand I used to be a mobile hairdresser. Like yourself, many of my customers were elderly ladies. Some just enjoyed my visit as someone to talk to. I'd often sit chatting over a cup of coffee while doing their hair! Many considered me a friend as well as hairdresser, and though I can still drive, I'd probably end up giving some really dodgy hair cuts!
