My Progress So Far
So far this journey has been nothing short of AMAZING!
One thing that keeps ringing in head is that these blogs are supposed to be for the reader and not about me. But that's not what this blog is so here goes.
I've made new contacts and like to think I've connected with a few folks. It's very gratifying to know you've helped a few people along the way. A feeling I really hadn't experienced in a long time and I gotta tell you. It's feels good!
I'm learning to write and just let it go, whereas before there was always that feeling of apprehension. Still have to stop going back and correcting typos as I write but it'll come.
The website I'm building is, of course, a work in progress but I feel very proud of the progress so far (I wish it was done and making money but that'll come). It's something I've never done before, actually that's a bit of a lie. I tried with another host but was completely on my own, didn't have a clue what I was doing. Boy, that was tough. Anyway, I had my daughter have a look at it and she said, "Dad, you wanted me to be completely honest and so I am,,,it looks like click bait". I had to ask her what that meant but had a pretty good idea. A very humbling moment but swallowed my pride and thank her for it.
Wealthy Affiliates has boosted my desire and confidence to become successful and for the first time in a long time I feel I have a real sense of direction. Thank you all for that!
So, in the next 3 months I plan to go hard on this business and take the necessary actions to take it to the next level. I'm counting on this platform to continue to give me more of the same excellent direction it has so far. I feel that confidence in a big way with WA.
By month 6 I hope to be making a decent income (still shooting for that mark I set in the beginning) that'll help me continue to focus on my ultimate goal, which is to become independent from having to fall back a regular job. Something I don't have right now as the economy in the Great White North has tanked big time. Global fall in oil prices, blah, blah, blah. But that's another story. I try to stay out of the fray and use it to propel my business to the end goal.
Wow, before I started this blog, I thought, Oh Man! This is gonna take forever! But by simply letting it go and write as a go, it really hasn't taken any time at all.
COOL! Look at that I did it!

I hope I can return the favour in the next phase of this awesome journey.
