After several days on the Wealthy Affiliate website I knew that I wanted more. I believe in my heart that this is my chance to make that change that I've been needing for years.

I've been working full-time in the healthcare industry since 2000 but I know my calling is to own and run a business.

It was 2003 when I first picked up a book by Robert Kiyosaki titled Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Even after reading Cashflow Quadrant years later I continued to work for someone else.

Well, my kids are nearing adulthood and the only thing I've taught them is how to wake up at 4:30am every morning, come home 12, sometimes 16, hours later, and then have no energy left to spend any kind of quality time with my family.

Change is not going to happen overnight. I'm not going to have all the answers that I need today, tomorrow, next week or next month.

I know it's going to take work...and a lot of it. I'm going to have to learn things that are completely foreign to me and I know it may take months, even years.

This is ok because I'm fueled by hope...hope that I will be a successful business owner. I have all the tools on WA to help me become successful. I just need to put in the work.

So, it's time to put my thinking cap on. My brain is a sponge!!!
