Just because you know what time it is, doesn't mean you know how to build a watch!

I was talking to a coworker the other day, complaining about the lack of training that we get. I won't say where, but anybody that works at a big corporation can surly relate.

He said that before he transferred to this department, he asked someone who was already working here what they thought of it. The old timer looked at him and said, "Its like someone coming up to you and asking if you know what time it is, and then dumping a bunch of watch parts on your desk, and asking you to build a watch."

I laughed, but it isn't funny. We've both been at this job for over 15 years, and are approaching retirement. I thought I would be a master of my craft at this stage of the game, but despite 2 bachelor degrees, and continuous self directed online training, I can say this is the most confused I've ever been.

Luckily, I have my plan B already going here at Wealthy Affiliate. I am pleasantly surprised how organized the training is, and how much I've been able to learn about something I didn't really know much about, prior to my training. Affiliate marketing truly is an exciting side hustle.

I'm not much of a sales guy, and to be honest, I don't really like computers or technology at all. I would rather be outside than in front of a computer all day.

But the great thing about this, is that I am able to take a laptop and go anywhere I can get a signal, which thanks to the company I work for, is pretty much anywhere.

So I look forward to keep training, keep learning, keep earning, for many years. Abundance is on the horizon.
