say i find a good keyword. what do I do with it?

Hey James,

You incorporate them into your blog posts. You include the keyword phrase in your title then once again in the first paragraph. Then you create your content in a way that is related to the phrase. You should try to avoid using the keyword phrase any more than in the title and first paragraph unless it makes sense to do so. If it appears too many times and seems unnatural the search engines can flag it as keyword stuffing.

Best Regards,
Jim

Thank you so much. I understand now. How about pages? Do I need to add keyword in then also?

Because the posts are going to appear in the blog roll, and hence are going to get the most organic exposure, it's typically best to keep all keyword related content within posts. Having said that, if it makes sense to put keywords in a page, for one reason or another, go for it.

If you ever decide to employ Pay Per Click (PPC) advertising into your marketing mix, you will see from the training here the content you will include as the target of the PPC ad should be a page (for reasons that are too numerous to be explained here and can be learned from the training). In that instance, you could put in some keywords into that page for an extra SEO boost.

Best Regards,
Jim
