Wealthy Affiliate pre workout supplement blog update
Oh my, what have I gotten myself into
I say this because what I've started doing is very challenging, especially for someone with little computer experience. Also, limited time to put into this.
First I researched several affiliate training websites before choosing Wealthy Affiliate. I was attracted to it from their straight forward marketing. The website didn't look like a Hoax and did not charge a suspiciously high dollar amount to join.
Wealthy Affiliate also received good ratings online. They seemed to have adequate support for help. They have designed step by step training system in place.
So I went for it.
My goal
So now I have started the www.preworkoutchallenge.com website. I am reviewing different pre workout supplements trying to give you enough information to choose the correct on. I'm very familiar with workout supplements from taking them for years, so I should be qualified to give information.
Hopefully I picked a good topic. If there are too many people and companies doing this, I could become more of a challenge. If this niche is overly competitive I'm not sure that I can handle the difficulties. In the meantime, I am going to keep plugging ahead.
My goal is to use these pre workout blogs to attract potential buyers by drawing them in with the useful information on my pages. Apparently this is more of a blog roll, as this is the best structure for setting up people to find you.
Also, my short term goal is to make around $1000 per month. From what I've heard, this is on the low end and a very doable goal. I am also making a time frame goal of one year to get to this money goal.
How is progress coming
I have been at this for about 30 days so far, and have spent a lot more time than I thought so far. It can almost be a little addictive at times, when I'm trying to get out a 1000 word blog and it's getting late.
In that 30 days I have gotten my website set up, finished my about page and privacy policy. I've written about 14 blogs. I've been able to make a few Facebook and Twitter posts.
There has been some confusion with the plugins and how they affect the site. I can always ask questions on the board and they usually get answered. Sometimes I don't get any response, so I just keep moving on and hope that I will figure it out on the way.
One of the most difficult things for me is writing the blogs. 1000 words is like 10,000 characters. Half way through I just don't know what else to say. It doesn't come easily. I just dwell on it, do some more online research and do my best to pull through it.
I should be proud of myself since I haven't done anything like this before. No programming, I only knew how to use email and Facebook.
Short term goals and where to go from here
As far as short term goals, I'm really not sure how far along I will be in a few months. I think that I saw somewhere that after about 100 posts, you start to see some rewards. I may be along way off from that.
I can shoot for 2 blogs a week for now, since I'm new at this. That would be some good progress. I will also keep up with my training on a daily basis and this should keep me on the road to success.
'One good thing is that I am feeling pretty efficient at post pictures and affiliate links to my posts. It seems that in general the Wordpress system is not too difficult to figure out. Although there are a few things that have stumped me.
I have kind of figured out Instagram, but I've come to the conclusion that it is a bit user unfriendly as well as Pinterest. Those I hope will come around once I feel more comfortable with them.
Good luck to you.
Wishing the best of luck to you, whether you are an affiliate marketer, looking into becoming an affiliate marketer or just doing some online research.
And again, if you would like to check out my site www.preworkoutchallenge.com
There is a comment box at the bottom of each blog. Please feel free to offer any comments or suggestions that you may have.
Sincerely,
Jim

Looks like you are on track with a good narrowed down niche. I am a Personal Trainer/ Nutritionist so I will check your site out.
Thanks Mark.
I saw your name a couple weeks ago and thought it was cool
I hope to be Expat Central America Jim in a few years. That is why I’m doing this
I’m sure Ukrainian women are the bomb.
Sounds like by your profile you are not very retired!
Love your positive profile.
Anyway, as much as I know about health, it is very hard to make up 1000 words about pre-work out all the time.
I feel like I’m going to have to get more creative somehow.
Thanks again
Jim
Add post workout supplements. Expat from America is the bomb. It is turning into a third world country fast.
Hi Mark.
That is a great idea about post workouts since there doesn’t seem to be a lot of topics on pre-work out.
So you think it is OK to do the protein powders too even though my site name and structure is around pre-work out?
