Dad and homeschooled kids
I am proud of my kids, Liam & Leanna, because they are working hard on their posts and getting a lot of experience writing. That was a major goal of mine - trying to entice them to write - and that has been a great success! My son especially is writing every day about his favorite topic, bicycles, and he has jumped ahead of everyone and has even placed ads to his website via Amazon. My son's website is called freewheelcycling.com and my daughter's website is called littlepetgenius.com . Please visit their website if you get a chance and congratulate them. Thanks!
As for dad, I am working on a prepping website. I am very concerned about what is going on in this country, as are many Americans I know, and so I split my site into two parts, part political/current events, while the other part covers solutions - how you can protect and prepare yourself and your family in the event of some crisis. My first current event post covers the topic of fracking and the contamination of our water supplies, so naturally the solutions section covers water and filtering technologies. I have a long way to go! My next political post with either cover EMP (with all the war drums banging a real concern) or possibly economy ( are we really on stable ground? Many experts think not).
My website is called surepreps.com.
The biggest challenge I face is finding enough time to write posts. Research can be time consuming, not to mention the writing part. As those who are raising kids (or who have raised kids) know, a lot of work! But very worth it!
Cheers,
Jim

This is an awesome post!
I homeschooled my children as well. I did not homeschool this year though and I was just telling my kids the same thing last week about building their own site.
This may very well motivate them. I will make sure me and my children visit Liam & Leanna sites. Thank you for sharing this..Although the littlepetgenius is not working.
Awesome Job Liam & Leanna! Keep up the excellent work...
Thanks. You were right. www.littlepetgenius.com was not loading, but it is working now. Thanks for the compliment and the heads up.
