How much do we want to help?
I just left this same thought as a question, but I'm going to leave it as a blog also. How much do we want to help each other? Or maybe I should ask, How much do YOU want to help others? I just went to the comment section and went to a couple of the comments that I had already left for people that had requested comments. I went to their response to my comment, and then I left a response to them again. We could carry on a conversation like this. Is this not exactly what search engines want? don't they want to see people "using" a site, and interacting? Why can't we do this for one another on a regular basis? Do we have the time to give of ourselves? Maybe your answer is NO, I don't have time. But maybe if everyone did this, then our own sites would get the activity that we need to please google and others, and we'd rank higher. What better opportunity is there to follow up and to get a conversation going to help one another. After all, everyone talks about how this community is all about helping and "paying it forward". Well, lets start helping, let's start paying, and maybe then we'll all see some returns on our investment. What do you say? Is it worth a try? I don't know about you, but I've received over fifty comments on one of my sites from members here. How many have you received? How would you like to have that many conversations going on? Give it some thought.
It's a hard balance depending on the time you have to spend.
