External links on posts
I opend my e-mail today and I saw the newsletter from Yoast : the first steps to take in SEO.
I opened it and started reading.I was reading how to get the first link. The post said: In order for Google to know about your new site, you need at least one external link towards your site.
External links point from one domain to an entirely separate domain. They may be links from your website to another website to provide additional information for readers, or they may be links from your website to an affiliate program. Links from other sites into yours can also be called external links, althought the preferred term is "inbound" links, to distinquish them from links you've added to your own site that connect to other sites.
I am wondering how to find these external links from other sites and add them to my site? Is there any training class? Or link I could look at?
