I recently ordered a webstore from Aliexpress. And now in order to transfer it to my hosting, they ask me to provide the following details:

I recently ordered a webstore from Aliexpress. And now in order to transfer it to my hosting, they ask me to provide the following details:

I don't think you are able to do this through WA unfortunately as I had similar issues with a site I have in NZ. I was told that they cannot adjust DNS or CNAME settings and I ended up having to work out an alternative solution (which I can't remember now off the top of my head...)
Hi, I have been looking into the Aliexpress store plugin. There seemed to be 2 options, with the custom option coming with it's own custom domain which will be difficult to transfer to WA, which is what I tried to do with my site. I wonder if the non-customised sites allow you to host directly onto a WA hosted site just by installing the plugin ?
Anyway thanks for asking the question as you have now made me aware of this opportunity and after looking into it and giving it some thought I can see a way of creating a great add-on site that will tie in with one of my other sites.

Oh, I`ve been waiting for my custom store for about a month. Although I was told it would take 3-5 working days. I sent them my FTP details, we`ll see what happens on Monday. Fingers crossed
I have sent them an enquiry asking if I can host a standard site on my own hosting provider, so will see what they say. I am a bit wary of their user testimonials as the English from some of the native speaking users seems strange..... I suppose as long as the rest of it is legit it should be a good platform. I have used Aliexpress for years with no problems at all.

I heard back from them and apparently if you take the standard version you just install the plugin onto your own site and can host it from there.
Oh, good to know.
In my case, I guess I will have to pay for the hosting they offer. I've already paid for the webstore, so there's no way back :)
