Question GSC Impressions

I'm hoping someone can help me understand something :) My new site is about a week and a half old. I see I'm getting impressions in GSC (yay), but I don't understand why it says 3 at the top and then in the Query section it only has 1. Is it just a lag?

Queries are basically keywords you are ranking for. So you are ranking for 1 keyword, and that keyword has given you 3 impressions.
So it is not a lag. You could also get impression from different posts and pages, without really ranking for something (hope that makes sense).
That has happen to me many times.
thank you for that response! I guess I just don't understand why at the bottom it says 1 impression but at the top 3. Maybe I'm just overthinking it. but whatever I'm doing seems to be working so far for being a brand new site :)
Yep, everything you are doing is good so far :)
To give you a clear answer, it is probably because your other pages just gotten a few impressions, but not for keywords, like your homepage.
