Now Is The Time

What does it take?

Ok, ok, ok!!! I give up! It has taken a global pandemic to get me started doing anything with the Wealth Affiliate membership I have held on to for 5 years. YES!!! FIVE YEARS!!!

This is true confessions! Embarrassingly I admit I have been a member of Wealthy Affiliates since 2015 and have sat on the sidelines, occassionally reading the blogs, asking questions and trying to figure this out. I have hosted my professional website on WA for that long and have since bought a couple of other domains. Yes, I have even started the training at one time and picked at it over time. But I haven't gotten very far or put the time in to get anywhere with WA.

Yet, I renew my premium membership every year with the hopes that a lite will turn on...I will get it...and I will bite the bullet and do the work!!!

The Right Mindset

So, what's holding me back? I believe having the right mindset is what held me back. The crazy things that go through my head...."I can't learn this stuff!!!" "I'm not a good writer!" "I don't have the time for this." "I'm not techy...it's too hard to learn." "Do I have what it takes?" On and on my mind goes.

From reading member's blogs, I am convinced that affiliate marketing is the way to go and WA is the vehicle. AND, it can bring financial success. I see it in the success stories that I read. I know its possible, yet it takes a great deal of time and dedication to get there. That is what scares me. All the time needed to get there.

I know that I haven't given WA a chance by dedicating time and energy to the trainings and figuring this all out. Something always stands in my way...raising a daughter with high needs, working, starting a business., etc.

So now, the Universe is giving me a message and an opportunity. 'Here is your chance, your opportunity!'

The Time is NOW!

The coronavirus (COVID-19) resulted in school closings,which start next week in Wisconsin. As a teacher, this will give me a few weeks at home to go through the trainings and set up my niche website. My daughter is older now and more independent, which gives me more time. I even went through a divorce last year and I'm living alone. Less distractions!

No more excuses. I am finally coming out of hiding and am declaring that "I AM READY". I am ready to pursue my goal of being a WA success story, putting this 'forced time off' to good use. I am ready to do what it takes, one step at a time.
