Where am I at, right now?

So I am at a stage in my life where I need to make a change in employment. I have been with my current employer for 10 years (today actually) and as the years have passed, the job has gone from being the best job anyone could ever hope for, to one that I can’t wait to resign from.

So then I get to thinking:-

• I can’t afford to retire,
• I need income.
• I don’t want to be applying for jobs and going for interviews at my age.
• I feel that my age is only going to hold me back when being considered for positions.
• What do I do?
• What do I like to do?
• What would give me job satisfaction?
• What skills do I have that can help me to get a job that I can enjoy?
• Do what I enjoy – helping others, providing them with a solution to their problems
• Utilise the many skills that I have, while doing something I love to do.
• Use the many tools available to me so I can evaluate my progressss whenever I need to. I will be in charge, I’ve got this.
• Completed Module 2 of the training,
• Set up my own website,
• Created posts that have taken some time, due to the research involved, but wow, it makes me feel great that I have done this, so efficiently, and so soon after joining this awesome Community.

So, then I start drilling down some more?

I spend so much time online, reading and researching everything that bothers me. And, there in front of me is the answer.

I have amazing Social Media skills, I have done so much Office Administration work over the years, I would be, and will be an amazing Virtual Assistant, with a main focus on Social Media.

By doing this, it will allow me to.

I have subscribed to many pages online in recent times, and have found Wealthy Affiliate due to a recommendation from another member. From the moment I arrived on the Wealthy Affiliate site, I could not believe the warm welcome, the friendliness displayed by all, not just the page owners, also how interested the thousands of others are in my progress. This is one fully interactive community.

I have now:-

My niche is to target those looking to purchase appliances, as I love to write reviews on anything that basically buzzes or talks back to you.

So far I have written about what type of headsets are available, and also about the latest Mobile Phones for 2017.

While I haven’t seen any financial successes to date, I am proud of what I have learnt so far, what I have written in my posts, and my entire attitude to this journey. I am so pumped.

In the next 3 months I am hopeful to learn so much more about myself and develop my writing skills to a much higher level, to ensure that my posts are interesting, informed and encouraging for the reader.

I am hopeful that by the time six months is up, I will have made at least one sale and therefore earnt a little income. I know this will be hard work, but I’m up to the challenge 😊
