Crowdfunding No Dogs Left Behind
Like many of you, I have always been an animal lover. My love and passion for caring for animals especially dogs and cats continues to this day.
However, most of you have not been aware that myself and my partner have been involved running the crowdfunding campaign on IndieGogo for No Dogs Left Behind, a wonderful non-profit organization dedicated to stopping the brutal dog meat trade.
This is our most important crowdfunding assignment yet. We are now in our 6th and final week of our crowdfunding campaign.
No Dogs Left behind is doing amazing work saving dogs from the dog meat trade going on internationally. The NDLB Team and their international satellite affiliates are out in the field everyday "boots on the ground" risking their lives to save the lives of innocent canines.
The dogs who are saved by the NDLB Team and their international affiliates from the inhumane dog meat trade are transported to temporary animal shelters around the world where they are well-cared for until they are able to be adopted.
No Dogs Left Behind continues to adopt the dogs they save through their website and through their social media to pet lovers all over the world.
9 New Dogs Brought Back to US
Last Friday we made the trek out to JFK airport in New York City where we got to experience firsthand the deeper impact of No Dogs Left Behind's work which includes emergency response, rescue and rehoming for dog meat trade survivors.
The first screenshot ontop shows 4 of the Special Happy families who waited for many hours at JFK Airport to first meet their newly adopted special Yulin survivors. We were on hand until 2am to take these true photos and videos.
The flight arrival was delayed from 12 Noon until 11:00pm.
9 Dogs were saved and brought back from abroad to the US, and were adopted by caring US families through the NDLB Adoption Program. One young couple drove down from Toronto, Canada to meet their new survivor. Another drove up from South Carolina.
It was truly an emotional experience.
Final Week of Our Crowdfunding
As we go into the last week of the NDLB crowdfunding campaign on IndieGogo, which happens to coincide with the first day of the Yulin Dog Meat Festival (June 21). No Dogs Left Behind's work takes on added urgency.
An estimated 10,000-15,000 dogs will be brutally slaughtered for their meat. Annually 20 million are slaughtered.

All the animals I shared my life with were or abandoned or children from abandoned animals.
When you look around in our world there are so many worthy causes to fight for, yours is one of them.

Thanks Taetske, please Google NDLB they are fighting a great fight, and saving 1000's of dogs every year from the ilegal dog meat trade. We are happy to contribute our part.
Good for you that you only adopt abandoned animals, they are the ones that need saving.
You never cease to surprise me. Good for you -- what a great enterprise to take on. 9 dogs aren't that many, but it is a start, and an encouraging sign that others will step up and adopt some of these animals, once rescued. I hope the "no dogs left behind" program is a rousing success.
NDLB have actually saved 1000s of dogs from the dog meat trade, Fran. They have been located to shelters where they are well cared for until they are adopted. These 9 dogs came in on 6/8, and more are coming in to the US and other countries from the shelters abroad every month.
Thank You, we hope to reach out goal by 6/21. If we do, we can extend the campaign and continue to raise.

What a magnificent commitment. I am not surprised. I also do pretty much the same thing in Europe. I am with an association called the SPA and we help the poor dogs who have been badly treated by their master and right now a lot of family gives up their dog because they want to leave on summer vacation without caring of their dogs. Dogs are part of the human world now and must be respected.
Animals need us to commit to them, they are fragile and innocent beings who don't deserve to be badly treated or ignored.
Long live animals, long live dogs!

Wow, that is wonderful work you are doing with the SPA, and I congratulate and salute you, Ingrid. I am not at all surprised. These poor dogs need our help, and we are doing everything we can.
NDLB and SPA are both magnificent organizations that serve our fragile animals who deserve a decent life just as every being of this world.

This is wonderful work you are doing. I have actually made myself view mages of this and it was so disturbing that my soul felt violated.
We will check into the NDLB. Have not heard of it before. Thank you for raising awareness of the brutal dog meat trade.
We applaud you in your quest to help those that cannot speak for themselves.
PS. All of our dogs have been rescues. The first one was going to be eaten when we lived in Palau, Micronesia, but we kept him and brought him away with us when we left.

We are already 2/3 of the way to our crowdfunding goal, and it is now "pedal to the metal" time, posting many times a day on social media, we need everyone's support through IndieGogo.
In addition to saving 1000s of dogs from the year-round dog meat trade and then relocating them to shelters, where they all receive needed vaccinations and are nursed back to health with loving care until they can be adopted, No Dog Left Behind is also working with many local activists throughout Asia educating them on how to combat this senseless dog meat trade.
