400 Days a WA Ambassador, Back to Rank 4!
My life is full of 4s!
Oddly enough, it feels as if I never left!
Today is my 400th day as a WA Ambassador, and I’m back to Rank 4!
But the irony is that I’ve been so highly focused working consistently and diligently doing research, attending to my business and my new website, I have not been here in the WA space nearly as much.
And I’ve been sticking to “My Golden Rules”.
Still, my rank has gone back up to #4.
Amazing.
In 2018, I spent a total of 163 consecutive days at the #4 rank, from late May until early November, but have not been there since. Other great well-deserving members had taken my place, although I did manage to “hang around” in the top 9.
Until today. My 400th Day as an Ambassador.
What a journey it has been!
My WA Journey
I started my journey back in March 2017, full feet in. I “stumbled” on Wealthy Affiliate while doing research on one of Neil Patel’s webinars.
Convinced from the start (after doing my research) WA was not only a legit business but one great training platform to learn to earn how to make money online, I’ve been a premium ever member since Day 1.
Since then, I have never looked back.
Sure, I’ve had my ups and downs. After quickly becoming an ambassador after 90 days on June 1, I remained an ambassador for 4 consecutive months until September 2017.
Then came “the post.”
On September 17, I wrote a post that I did not intend to be political, but the community construed it as such. I was then hit with a “write-ban” for violating WA rules that lasted for one month which at the time I didn’t think I deserved, but in hindsight I probably did.
He is a blind man who cannot see his mistakes. And own up to them.
Others Quit, I Persevered
I remember it all too well. There were other ambassadors who were subjected to write bans during the same time, and they eventually all quit. Some were already miffed by an algorithm change WA put in place one month earlier.
I almost did, but in the end preserved.
Feeling scorned and marginalized, for the next several months I did not post at all. I buried myself in my business, and worked even more diligently on websites, learning new tricks to make them perform even better.
In hindsight, it was probably one of the best things to happen.
Then one day in early 2018 (January 31), inspired by my own experimental success I wrote a post about Site Speed optimization I had done that was achieving fantastic results. That post was well-received by the community.
I followed that initial post up with a much detailed training, which was even more highly touted by the community.
Soon thereafter I got the writing “bug”; from March 18 I went on a posting “tear”, writing 258 WA posts and 11 trainings for the rest of 2018 - averaging over 1 post per day - in addition to writing articles on my own sites.
And in a short time, my rank ascended from the high 500s to rank #4 on May 31. Once I got to number 4, I kept writing. And helping. AND working on my business.
I had come full circle.
Wealthy Affiliate: A True Global Learning Experience
WA has surely been one helluva learning experience.
A true global learning experience.
And it continues to be to this day.
My 2nd shift as WA ambassador has now lasted for 277 consecutive days, and I am loving every moment of it!
There is no doubt. The jury is out……
2019 has already started off on a tear. I believe it is going to be my Best Year by far, but that could never happen if I would have given up.
Never EVER give up.
I truly love this Amazing community, and I’ve made so many wonderful friends here from around the world.

Sometimes when you see how people handle adversity, that is when someone goes from a nice person or an informative person to someone that your really admire. When you really admire someone, that is when you try to do all that is possible to support them. So.... that is my excuse of why I can remember you the best after the ban. :)
And, why I am willing to reply to the post on one of my little breaks.

I was there myself for a while but with so much else on my agenda from the start of 2019 I have slipped all the way down to 16 now.
