I have been with WA a few months doing my niche website.I started looking into bootcamp and Im considering doing that as well.My concern is bootcamp seems to focus alot on promo
yes you can by writing to your target audience. your family and friends are separate (unless they become interested).
None of my family/friends here about my internet marketing unless they ask and then they have to shut me up lol
Thanks.I will take your advice about target audience . Btw I read some of your blogs.very helpful!

I watched the videos on how to add affiliate links to my website and followed the instructions.Every link I add says not found when I click on it.Anyone else have this issue?
I am having this problem as well I have added the links then safari can not find it. says server not found i have tried it several times now don,t know what i am doing wrong?
Try updating the Safari or ask support. On your left side screen, you will find Help Center to ask them or go on a live chat with someone higher up.
If you need anything else, let me know it.
I am having the same problem. Have tried links from Amazon and Sharesale, neither will work for me. Very frustrated
I am with you...did you find out why the links are not working? I am posting links from amazon and every time I try them out on my website after I refresh the page it does not work.
Below is an affiliate link for wealthy affiliate:
https: // my . wealthyaffiliate . com / 1e019e19
If I wanted I could type this in a post: Wealthy Affiliate Training
If I highlight "Wealthy Affiliate Training" and select, Insert link. Pasting the above address will link this phrase to my affiliate link.

I understand how to place them onto blog but not anyplace else on page.Any help on this is much appreciated.
Hi Jessclark. Congrats on getting set up. Placing images on your site is a matter of knowing how you want to use the content.
>>Placing images in posts can be done within the post editor.
>>Placing images in your header, footer or other theme areas requires a bit more knowledge and can range anywhere from using theme settings/configuration or an experienced designer to work on customizing.
Do you have a specific need at this time? Let me know and I'll try to help.
Thanks for the info.I may just have to stick with images in the post editor for right now.
I'm definitely no experienced designer! I'm still very new at all this.
In lesson 5 of 10 in Getting Started there is a tutorial with Kyle and he explains exactly how to put images on your website. It is an awesome tutorial and after he explains it you will understand. That is in Lesson 5 of 10 in Getting Started. I just learned how and I did it!! Good luck to you.

Is putting images also in the Affiliate Bootcamp or should I be doing both trainings at the same time?
I've watched it twice and all I got from it was how to put images within a post. Maybe I'm missing something.I will look at it again.thanks
I'm just working on a website related to my niche for now so I'm not sure about Affiliate Bootcamp. But I would say that it's a good idea to go through the certification courses at some point. There's alot of info in them. This is only my 4th day on them and I've learned so much
I was planning to put a few towards the top of my page, away from blog.I have sugar and spice theme
Wordpress can handle that more or less automatically with the image settings you choose when you add (or upload) an image to your page.
You select vertically where you want the image to start on the page (by placing the cursor appropriately in your text where you want the top of the image to appear), and select the appropriate wordpress settings (size, alignment) to decide where horizontally (center, left, right, none) you want it aligned.
Well, this could depend on your theme. Where would you like them placed?
- Side bar: This can often be done using a "Text" widget
- Header: Under Appearance = Customize. You can add a banner instead of a text header.
- Footer: My theme don't support footer widgets, so I would place html in the footer section of the "editor" (Last option under "Appearance)

i suppose you can create another niche website and promote WA from there. I too do not like to promote to my family and friends. I understand it can be really annoying to those who aren't interested at all.
Thanks Kelly. I agree
