Today, I would like to share with you some ideas that come from Jim Rohn and his book 7 Strategies for Wealth and Happiness. I have started reading this book and have been blown away by it. I want to be able to share it with all of you and the lessons it contains. As Rohn says, you can either choose to follow the lessons and become successful or you can throw the lessons away and accept complacency for your life. The choice is yours.

5 Keywords

Rohn says there are only 5 key words that you need to know to be successful. You will receive no value from his lessons without having an understanding of these key words. Since 5 is a lot to cover in one post, we will just start with #1.

The Answer You Seek

The first key word is "Fundamentals". Rohn says that fundamentals are the basic principles on which all accomplishment is built.

Fundamentals are not something new. They have been around for a long time and they guide us all the time. For example, we all know it is fundamentally impossible to make lots of money online by doing nothing and giving someone $200. But scam artists like to offer these "exotic answers" to our questions in the hopes of separating us from our money. If the answer is exotic then it defies the basic fundamentals of life.

Wealthy Affiliate is not an exoctic answer. It gives you the answer that hard work and dedication will yield results. No internet scammer will tell you that because then they can't steal from you. But someone who knows about the fundamentals of getting wealthy will tell you it is a long and tough journey. Only the strongest will survive.

Fundamentals And Success

When it comes to success and applying fundamentals, I find this passage to be the most inspiring:

Success is no more than the natural consequence of consistenly applying the fundamentals of success to life.

As far as Rohn is concerned, this is the way to success. Nothing will fall out of the sky and land on your lap. You have to find it, tame it, and make it work for you. That takes work and lots of it.
