Learning From The Internet Marketing Expert: Chan Peng Joon

Peng Joon was one of the guest speakers there at the event. That was my first time hearing about this person called Peng Joon, a very successful and influential person in the internet marketing world. He has shared stage with a lot of the most renowned speakers around the world like Robert Kiyosaki, Sir Richard Branson, Nick Vujicic, etc.

I have been in this online marketing world since 2015 but I've only heard of people like Pat Flynn, never heard of Peng Joon before.

The Downside of SEO

During his 90-minute presentation, he shared a lot about his personal stories and showed us how he generates thousands of dollars from platforms like Amazon and ClickBank everyday.

What we learn in Wealthy Affiliate mainly focuses on Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as the main source of free targeted traffic to our sites. The benefit of organic traffic is that they are FREE and targeted. However, as we all know, SEO takes time. It not only takes time to learn and apply, but also takes time for your site to gain authority in the niche and your contents to rank in search engines.

This disadvantage of SEO causes a lot of beginners to quit because many are not consistent and patient enough to see the results.

As for paid traffic, many people are afraid to invest in it because of uncertainty. Many don't have the necessary skills and strategies to benefit from paid traffic as well.

So that's one of the parts many people are struggling with today.

Peng Joon's Strategy

Peng Joon believes that there are lots of potential and matured buyers around the world on social media platforms. He knows how to target his target audience on Facebook and generate sales by investing in Facebook Ads.

The most common problem people face is that they can't make sure the earnings are more than their investing budgets.

Peng Joon said he has strategies to make sure when he invests one dollar in Ads, he gets at least two dollars or more back. Then reinvest into the system to create the snowball effect!

Internet Marketing is a lot More Than We Can Imagine

I believe this is very possible through some learning and practice. If we are able to master this, we don't need to spend hours writing blog posts and trying to rank them in search engines.

That's why I bought his $2,000 dollar course called the "Internet Income Intensive". I want to learn more about the whole internet marketing thing instead of just affiliate marketing and search engine optimization.

Wealthy Affiliate is a good place to learn affiliate marketing, setting up websites and hosting your websites. I cannot deny that WA is a wonderful place with an awesome community.

But I believe Internet Marketing is a lot more than just building websites and earning affiliate commissions. I urge everyone of you to look beyond and don't be restricted by your own mindset.

Like I've said in my previous post on Robert Kiyosaki (link above), we should Start Small but Dream Big!
