Do you create content outside of your niche?
Hey everybody, Jerry here.
So I was browsing Amazon, and you know the feature they have where if you buy something or looking at something, there's this list that says something like "Other people also bought...." and that got me thinking.
My website is about watches, premium watches. People who tend to have that interest, also (in most cases) have an interest in suites, cars and wealth in general. So I was thinking "My website is about watches primary, but why shouldn't I be posting or advertising about suits also? Since my audience might be interested in that too.".
What do you think? Do you write outside of your niche? If yes, are you writing about stuff that has to do with your niche or completely random?
Thanks for reading!

I think Jude is right. There is no reason for you not to branch out to other interests they may have.
There's no reason why you can't flesh out your content with those thoughts about slightly differing topics. As you say, if someone is interested in watches, they would probably be really interested in related topics :)
Yeah I think so too! Of course, I wouldn't be posting about "how to fish for newbies", but maybe topics like "How to find the perfect suite to go with your new watch" or stuff like that. or is that a bad idea?
No, that seems to work fine together. My niche is broadly 'women over 50' and then I have sub-categories to do with health, relationships, shopping and stuff like that :)

Hello, personal opinion - A chronic suit wearer looks better with a dressier watch, and if he wants a Rolex, that’s why they make the Rolex Cellini.
Therefore I see no reason why you can't have a post or two dedicated to suits and watches together and of course make money from both.
As I said, personal opinion.
Have a nice Sunday.

Thanks for the tip. Yeah I'm thinking something like "of to pick a suit that fits your blablabla watch", or something like that. Still relevant.
If you can find a pic showing a smart suit with the high end expensive watch on the wrist that would be good.
Robert
Thanks for the tip! That shouldn't be hard at all. The real problem is the copyright. How big is the chances that I will find that exact watch, on a wrist, with a suit, that is free to use? haha.
Will PM you right now ok.
Robert
PM on its way.
