Social Media Is Self Advertising For Your Blog
I have just started posting content on social media, and I had a brief but impactful (at least to me) thought.
Posting on social media seems to be like yelling something into a room, and then coming back later to see who listened.
Until today I was hesitant to post multiple times about the same or blog similar content, but it seems like social media is arguably fleeting and temporary.
You make a post and it is in front of people, but then two or three days down the road the post is buried in the scroll history. Sure, people may scroll through multiple days of content, but I think it is more likely that they will just look at recent things and move on.
It was this thought that got me over my hesitation. You probably are not going to annoy people by posting every few days - even if it is about similar content. You are yelling into that room 'Hey I made a thing' and then 'Hey my thing is still there'.
Dont be shy - get out there and promote the thing you have built!

Social is getting better attention. Facebook for example is going to be indexed on certain things like Reels and Content post on Pages etc.. Your regular feed will likely always scroll off people's pages at the speed of light, for one you need to post a ton of valuable content for even 20% of your friends to see what you posted and for the general public to see it you need a fan page with regular content and to boost your best posts for as little as $5 a day.
Thank you for that insight. This is the type of thing that I really need to start digging into. Really understanding how SEO, indexing, and content optimization can help my content bubble up to the top.
I agree with everything you're saying. Sometimes people will have to see the same post a dozen times or more before their curiosity finally kicks in.
Keep on posting.

I think boosting your post can do better.
Oh yeah do you think it is worth the cost?
It depends on your niche.
