Good Riddance Adsense! Check Out My Speed!
Earlier today I asked about cancelling my Adsense account. I was debating whether I should or not. I had made only $27 dollars in a year and it was slowing my site. Well, tonight I cancelled my account and my mobile speed scores are great!
I am so happy! My mobile speed before wasn't horrible it was in the mid 80's, but now I am so thrilled.
If you are thinking of cancelling Adsense, you do not have to wait until you meet their payment threshold which is $100 dollars, you only have to meet their cancellation threshold. For me that was $10 dollars. (it may be different for different countries). I will receive my payment in 90 days.

Thanks for this information, Jenny. I was not aware of a cancellation date so I will check it out. My Adsense account is $4 off $130 which is the threshold for New Zealand. It's taken a year to reach $126 so I don't want to lose it. However, the mobile speed of my sites to not at all good. So action is needed! I've had an Adsense account for many years and it used to be very much worthwhile. However, with all the algorithm changes the value has dropped tremendously.

Hi Valerie, you will certainly get your money, just be sure to check what your cancellation threshold is for your country. Mine in Canada was 10 dollars.
