They Say Success Is Hardwork
I've been on Wealthy Affiliate for about a week or two and I have to say I am feeling the work load. I almost gave up, but the videos make it easy. I am currently on Course 2, Lesson 9. Yes, I am new to all this and have no idea what I'm doing. It's like going back to school only worst, "I've forgotten Algebra." My topic is about The Outdoors so I'm having fun creating my website. It is important that you stick to a topic you're going to love blogging about and learning about. Furthermore, I am willing to continue and see where this takes me. Ideas and tips will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jennifer

Hi Jennifer
At first you will have to put in a lot of time to do the work and understand what is going on. Things will become easier as time goes on. Expect to spend several months learning and applying what you have learned. The success will come, and it is long lasting. I have simple websites that I created years ago that still pay a little each month.
These have not had any attention for several years. I can also go back and tune things up a bit to increase their revenue.
Don't get discouraged, but be realistic. It will take a lot of your time but you will see progress. That is part of the beauty of the lessons. You can actually see what you have ticked off.
Best of success to you.
Hi Jennifer,
I agree, WA can be very overwhelming and mind blowing in the beginning. If you then have no actual clue how to put everything together, because you lag the knowledge and skill, it will make you want to give up. Success is a handful indeed and takes hard work to reach.
I love that you didn't give in that urge of giving up. This shows strength in your character and a strong will. This is absolutely necessary if you want to achieve your goals.
As many already know, I have a favorite quote from Thomas A. Edison and it helped me so much in the past and especially here at my first days at WA.
"Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time."
Keep following the Trainings, apply the tasks given in the Trainings, ask for help when needed, keep going, never give up and soon you'll see success.
I wish you all the best and great success. :)
Take care,
Nicole
Thank you Nicole. It's always nice to get feedback. Makes it that much easier to know someone is out there ready to help if I ever need anything. :) That quote is amazing by the way.
This community is full of helpful people. That's what makes it so unique and standing out from any other Affiliate Marketing community. There's no competition here. We all want each other to succeed.
I'm glad to have you onboard and looking forward to see you succeeding and achieving your goals.
Drop me a note any time if you need help. :)

I wish you all the best in your success Jennifer. Because it can get so overwhelming at times it makes it even more important to have that niche that you love. I'm new to this also, just started in May and never had any experience in marketing. But since my niche is something I love (healthy homemade dog treats) it's something I would work on anyway because it gives me so much pleasure. Keep having fun building the site. I truly believe that as you continue to build it, traffic will come and the you will reap the benefits.
Thank you. It has been overwhelming, but I've noticed a lot of people on here started without experience as well. That at least gives me a bit of hope. Wish you all the best. Keep me updated. :)
