My Journey With Weathy Affiliate So Far
This is my journey so far with Wealthy Affiliate. After joining I quickly went through the first course, taking action on every actionable task. This is a big deal for me... many times I start a course, learn but do not implement all the necessary parts.
I like that the courses here at Wealthy Affiliate have a task list for each lesson that you can check off along the way. Keeps me on track, as I tend to get sidetracked easily. I also like that it is on the actual site, I have printed up checklists before, only to lose them in my paper mess on my desk.
It is also nice to know I am not alone in this process. I love that Wealthy Affiliate is a community. I attempted a wordpress site in the past but after some failures, lost money and confusion, I gave up.
Ok, so I have my website up and running! I have the framework of my niche site now it is just a matter of filling it with posts. My niche is essential oils and aromatherapy. I am very passionate about this topic and know I will have no writes block when it comes to this subject matter, there are many topics to cover.
I am on the second course, lesson 10 - Ambassadorship. The word kind of scares me, because I am not sure I can live up to the title but I am trying.
My goal for the next 3 months is to consistently publish 3 posts per week. I plan to continue with the next training course so I can improve my website further. I want to also consistently push my blog posts to pinterest, facebook and google for more exposure and traffic.
My goal for 6 months will be to publish posts 5 times per week. By then I would like my traffic to be big enough that I will start to earn decent affiliate credit. Enough that I can at least pay for my monthly costs to run the blog.
A this point I am not focusing on the amount I will be earning because I know I am still laying the foundation. I want a strong foundation and I know that the money will follow in due time.
