What the Wealthy Affiliate OEC Training Means To me!
What Is This OEC Training You Speak Of?
The Online Entreprenuer Certification (OEC) training offered here at Wealthy Affiliate covers just about every aspect of building your online business. It includes building your website, building your social media channels, setting up your affiliate products, getting your mindset straight and how to get traffic! I am currently on Level 4 lesson 7 of the Online Entrepruener Certification and moving along at a good pace. With every lesson in every level I finish, I get the feeling of a major accomplishment. 1 More step closer to finishing the training and having a full fledged website up and running along with all the social media outlets.
The OEC training is a very detailed program that has grown over the lifetime of Wealthy Affiliate. This means that it has changed over the years to cover the changing trends in the online world and the changes in methods used by search engines to bring traffic to your site. Some things that worked a few years ago are no longer relevant, like google+. Other things that didn't exist a few years ago are covered very well like Pinterest.
The training here shows you how to setup each aspect of your online business, how to do it, how to maintain it, how to promote it and things you need to do in order to be successful.
How Much Does It Mean?
I don't think people really see the value in the training as much as I do. I have been sledge hammering websites for years and always missed the mark by a mile. The things I've already learned here are little gems that I will be able to keep with me for life. Wealthy Affiliate has a training platform here that is definitely the best I have ever seen and well worth the membership fees. The biggest take away I see myself earning and keeping are methods for getting traffic.
Is Everyone Following The Training?
One of the things I wanted to mention is the fact that a lot of people that are just starting out are not following or even doing the OEC training. To me, this is totally defeating yourself before you even begin. I see it in live chat almost every night, someone asking a question that is clearly covered in the OEC training. Not to say that asking a question about anything is bad, but it shows that some people are just not following a good plan here. I totally believe in order to succeed here, you will need to complete the training offered. For someone like me who has a lot of website experience to be able to learn a ton of things about websites and traffic says it all!
What Other Training is Offered Here?
Along with the OEC training there is the Boot Camp training. Where the OEC training teaches you how to build your online business based around the niche, subject or product of your choice, the Boot Camp Training teaches you how to build your business around Wealthy Affiliate as your niche.
This means you will follow similiar training to the OEC but you will be buildng your site on your brand in promoting Wealthy Affiliate. You will be telling people how to make money online (MMO) and lead people to this platform while earning money doing so. This is an exciting future endeavor I am absolutely itching to bear hug, but I will only follow this route after I have been successful with my own niche (Plumbing) and earned the traffic I am looking forward there. In the end, I can't promote Wealthy Affiliate unless it has worked for me, which I have no doubt it will in time.
On top of the OEC Training and the Boot Camp training there is a massive amount of member created tutorials, guides and training events offered that cover every single aspect of what we are all doing here. This is another huge thing that I don't think a lot of people realize. Once I have completed the WA training modules, I intent to follow up with all the other training offered by the other members. I know for a fact there are some gigantic diamonds out there to cover things in even more detail from other members!
OK, Thats Enough, I Have To Get Back To Training!
Ultimately, I believe in the training here. So much so, as others have stated, I will follow it again and again as I build other websites. I haven't completed the OEC training yet, but I am definitely far enough along to understand and embrace it! I am seeing things and learning things that are going to be beyond value to me in my online business building career!

OEC meant everything to me when I took it. I had been beaten by so many scams and lost thousands of dollars. When I found WA, and I started taking the training, I felt like a fool for wasting all that time but we always should learn from our mistakes.
Thank you very much! In the past 15 years or so, I tried out a few make money from home programs, but WA has definitely done a great job and provides the best platform out there!
