My Opinion on WA REVIEW please share your opinion on this

So between yesterday and today, I read and left a lot of feedback on WA Reviews. One thing I notice between different folks WA review pages, People share a lot of details about the WA Membership prices like the $47/month, $359/year and even the $19 discount if you decide to go premium within the first 7 days. I kind of feel a certain way about that and it got me thinking.

A lot of the pages share great detailed reviews about the membership costs (which nothing is wrong with that at all) while other pages (mine being one of them) did not go into detailed info about the membership prices.

The reason I chose not to go to intensive details about membership cost is not because I don't want to tell people about the price. The reason is while I was writing my review on WA, I thought back to when I was doing some research online and ran into a WA review myself and decided to join based on that person's review. This particular review did not have much info on the membership. It was honest mentioned the free starter membership kind gave an option on going premium if you wanted to.

To me I like that kind of approach really felt like your'e reviewing something to me rather than selling something, not sure if i make sense but I want to here you guys opinion on this let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Jeff

I want to know the price as well. It's true that it's "FREE" to join, but what is not stated makes me wonder more.

Is it free for good? No
Is it free for a limited time? Yes.
Is it free for 7 days? Yes.

Even just saying "You can start as a free member" sort of implies you have to pay later. But you didn't clearly say it.

This is a topic that gives me mixed emotions because I see the advantages of both approaches.

I would say do not show prices because you want the reader to see all the benefits and details. The reader can make a decision seeing what WA can do for him/her. Then they can evaluate whether it is worth it to them.

On the other hand, showing the price (and being transparent) will separate those that are willing to spend money and the freebie seekers who will go away.

I chose to show the prices on my WA review.

Exactly my thought on letting them make the decision.

Nothing wrong with either way just wanted to hear more insight on it.

Jeff, I appreciate your opinion. I went into detail because my website has a page dedicated to how to spot scams. I want my readers to be totally confident that I am not trying in the least to hide information about the fact that there is a free starter membership but that there is also a premium membership that provides frankly more benefits.

You're right with your website it would be a different a approach. I would mention the prices.

Hmm, good point, but for me personally, I would have wanted to know the prices :)

Yeah nothing is wrong with either way, I suppose just depends on you website and the approach you use.
