Whether you are building an online business or a traditional business, people don't want to feel like they are being sold. Even more so if you a pushing something on them.
I prefer "Pull" marketing or attraction marketing. As a marketer, it is so much nicer when a person comes to you about what you are working on. Then instead of being a cold market lead they are a warm market lead.
Once I switched my thinking marketing became so much easier and picking up the phone wasn't an issue. The phone used to weight 90 pounds when I had to try to cold call. Not now!
