Awin Offers Expedited Publisher Signup for Amazon Affiliates

Since Amazon’s severe commission cuts in April, literally tens of thousands of affiliates have joined the Awin affiliate network to find high-quality alternative merchant programs.

At Awin.com, we wanted to make the process easier, so we’ve created the Expedited Publisher Signup which makes joining Awin even easier. That way you can apply more quickly, get approved faster, and start pivoting away from Amazon to more profitable partners!

We’ve also created the Automated Partnerships process, which reduces the time of approval for publishers by automating acceptance based on predefined segments. You can apply to join this program here. All applications are reviewed, but it is an invitation-only service, so access is not guaranteed.

I’m the Awin.com representative on Wealthy Affiliate, so please feel free to ask me any questions you may have about Awin.com or Awin merchants.

Looking forward to working together!

Jeanine,

I have joined ShareASale but have not even applied for Awin yet as I’m just getting started. Do you have advice on when is a good time to apply for a newbie like me? Maybe what stats they would like to see as a minimum? How much traffic to my site, for example?

I’m concentrating on content right now but am putting together a strategy for the future. I really don’t want to be turned down when I apply so I’d love your advice on how best to stack the deck so that Awin finds my site a value to them.

Thank you!

Kerry

Hey Kerry, it's more about the site content than the traffic your site receives. We want to see enough content to get a sense of your plans for the site. I usually recommend between 8-12 posts. It's not about traffic - we know that over time your site will grow and attract more visitors; we want to grow with you!

If you want to send me your URL via private message, I'll be glad to take a look at it and see if you are ready to apply. It's a great sign that you've already been accepted into ShareASale.

Thank you for your post, Jeannine! I had trouble to join Awin 3 months ago and they rejected me, and here is my WA blog: I tried to sign up again, finally I succeed to register, but need to wait for approval.

But it's weird, that they rejected me last time and I got full refunded. I tried to log-in the account and it's working, the only thing is I don't have publisher account.

Thank you - Ling

Okay, Ling, you've been accepted into Awin.com - welcome!

Just one tip, you may want to add more content or something to your home page. There's a huge white space there which makes it appear like there's no content anywhere on your site. Perhaps you might want to add snippets of your news articles on there?

Umm, I’m still thinking if I use “latest news” as a homepage or not 🤔

I don't think I would use it as a homepage, but you could have a section on your homepage with "latest headlines."

Because I adjusted my “blog” to “latest news” 🤔 I think if use “latest headlines” page instead of “latest news” is a good idea too, and use the “latest headlines” as homepage?

That's a decision you'll need to make. You can try testing it to see what the response is from visitors.

Thank you for your advice!

I have a question. I tried to login my Awin account and check if my publisher account was approved or not. (Because didn't send me any emails and say that approved or not by Awin.) I see the publisher's account can access to the "join Programme" session.

Does it mean that my publisher account was approved?

That does sound like you've been approved. If you want to send me a private message with the email you used, I can check for sure.

I would, however, have expected you to receive an email, as you are required to confirm your email address as part of the process. Perhaps check your Spam folder to make sure it didn't end up in there.

Yes I received email of confirm email address. Checked everywhere in email, still didn’t see the approval email from Awin. I sent you a private message enclosed my email address.

Thanks Jeannine!

I've now confirmed that you have been approved into Awin. Welcome aboard!

Thank you very much for your help! Appreciated!

Hi Jeannine,
I have been with awin since i started training here and have really enjoyed using the awin platform.

Yesterday i tried to log in and could not get access, i tried a password reset but no emails were coming to me with password reset instructions,

Anyway I contacted awin through twitter and had a response and this morning i had a couple of emails about adding a new email to the account so i could gain access.

Do you have any idea how long this takes as i am feeling really frustrated as i have lost two days of access?

Thank you - Mike

Hey Mike, I'm glad to help. I'm going to send you a message about this, as I need some info which we should keep private.

Hi Jeannine - Thank you for the help BUT it was sorted about 30 mins ago! They came through with an answer so i am good to go.

Best Regards
Mike

That's my favorite kind of news!

Great information, Thank you for sharing, I know of Awin, and I think I had tried to sign up at one point but I found the site confusing because I was not able to remove some countries from my network.

I only wanted English speaking countries, and I don't know how I ended up with other countries, then when I tried to remove them I could not, so I gave up.

The Reason Why I had joined is that I was directed there by a brand that I wanted to promote. And then when I tried to get links for that brand, they sent me to a website that was in another language, and actually that website said I did not qualify to use their links, It was really complicated for me.
Then I contacted the brand again, and they sent me to Flexoffers.

I'll message you privately so that we can figure this out. I need a bit more information so I can assist you.

Hello Jeanine,

I hope you're doing well and that business is good.

This sounds like a very smart idea indeed! I think it was a very bad move by Amazon to drop the affiliate commissions. Although I am an Amazon Prime member, I am trying to find other companies to purchase from. I have to say that Amazon runs a great service, however, I do not agree with all their principles.

Have a great day.

Roy

It always makes me sad to see how poorly Amazon treats their publishers. Glad you are pivoting away to folks who will treat you as a partner!

Good morning Jeannine,

Thank you for your reply. I believe that Amazon chose a very bad time to cut affiliate commissions. The reality is that companies can become too large and potentially take over!

Enjoy your Sunday.

Roy

Think of it this way...

For a couple of decades now, millions of publishers have pointed billions of links back to Amazon. 99% of them won't bother to switch now. So Amazon has all these links pointing back to them at virtually no cost for probably the next 20 years. It's sneaky and incredibly unfair to affiliates, but will make Mr. Bezos a lot of money.

Hello Jeannine,

Thank you for your reply. I hear you, the figures are astounding!

Have a great week.

Roy
