What does it mean

In my endeavors to educate those closest to me, I've found the most common question to be what does it mean?

Affiliate, by definition, means- A person or organization attaching themselves to a larger organization.

We attach ourselves to established companies in order to gain a steady name for ourselves. It doesn't always work how we plan, but done well it does work. Of course this leads to question 2.

Why would a larger company allow you to piggy back? That's very simple to answer. Its the old motto "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours". You provide ad space. They give you minimum monetary reimbursement, but your name starts getting seen.

That seems simple enough, but there's always a catch. The catch here is that you must maintain relatable and productive leads and contents to keep most affiliations. They will expect you to be worth the piggy back.

My greatest piece of advice is to begin where you want to end. What I mean by that is choose a niche that you would love no matter what kind of money is involved. Think of things you would do if money weren't an issue...then... Do those things.

Only your true passion can make you happy and ultimately being you to the freedom you seek. Both financially and your time become worries of yesterday.

Indeed.I've always taught my children that if it can't be explained simply then it's not understood correctly. So I always try to explain things in terms most have heard
