I'm imagining both coined into one ~a book in categories with letters and poems separate from each other within the categories. But however you are inspired when you put all your work together will determine the outcome of your book. I know that writers are driven by their motivation and inspiration at the moment of writing. I think categories in which you'd read letter's and poems pertaining to those categories. It seems more streamlined that way...more reader friendly, especially dealing with poems and letters. That's my opinion. May YHWH bless you either way.
