Here's to A New Beginning
I don't think anyone will argue that 2020 has been quite a year for most of us...
But it's almost over now and with each passing day, brighter days are forecasted!
The medical and scientific communities are making great strides with their vaccines; people are (slowly) realizing that if we follow some of the safety practices that have been put in place, sickness rates slow.
But not everyone agrees with the way the pandemic is being handled, so I'm not going to cause further division by beating on any drums. Let's just say, I'll be happy when I can travel again!
For now, time marches on...and it's time to look toward the future and what's going to come.
I've been working in the "Make Money Online" arena for awhile now and, yes, I've made some money...
I've spent a fair amount as well - so a few others are also making money online! That's the way it goes, right? A little give and take and we all come out ahead... at least that's my theory.
I think WA is going to be a great spot to settle for a bit... I need to get more comfortable with blogging and content-writing, so the WA platform will give me the chance to do that. I can't wait to actually get going!
"New Beginnings" come in many forms...my online presence has just had a facelift, due to my need to wipe my hard drive and start over from scratch...
As I recreate my folders, I'm struck by how much of the stuff I have on my backup drive is truly "junk"...I'm only putting files and apps back on the hard drive if I actually need them.
It's a great opportunity to purge - which leads me to the need to do the same activity in my "real life"... I'm going to be retiring from my "day job" in awhile (505 days from today, but who's counting?!)
Downsizing is going to be a hard task, and will probably take a few tries before I get it right, because I love to save souvenirs from all the special times in my life. But I'll have some time, I guess, since my husband isn't planning to retire when I do. So that means our plans to spend a few years doing international pet/house sitting may be postponed a bit..
Little does he know that I plan to start doing it as soon as I'm done working! If he can't come along, that's his problem! Maybe I'll scout out a few places so I can find the location for our NEXT new beginning!

Sounds like a charmed life, to me! That sounds wonderful. Congrats on being able to retire. :) You must be retiring early or you have enough income from online to do it. No need to answer that. lol. I wish you the best here at WA. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
